Peacefully on September 3, 2022 Carson Graham Rockley of Sudbury (formerly Welland, Ontario) passed away in his 84 th year. Loving husband for 57 years to Margaret Ann Rockley (Main). Dear father of Tammy (Ronald) Storms of Alliston, Ontario, and Stacey (Kenneth) Cameron of Sudbury, Ontario. Carson was the very proud grandfather of five grandchildren: Carly (Robert) Rolston, Lindsay Ann Keeping (Chris Gummerson), Brooke (Chris) Chalmers, Madison Cameron, and Brandon Cameron. Carson was a loving great grandfather to three great grandchildren: Carson and Charlie Chalmers and Carrick Rolston. Carson’s late parents George Gordon Rockley and Rheba (Graham) Rockley formerly of Welland, Ontario and survived by brother Wayne (Marlene) Rockley of Tillsonburg, Ontario and close cousin Nancy (Gordon) Veinot.
Carson worked all his life as a sheet metal worker for E.S. Fox Ltd. until he retired to enjoy travel, fishing, hunting, designing, and building projects in his garage. He is well remembered for his passion for fast cars, boats, and motorcycles. Carson had a wonderful sense of humour and was truly devoted to his family. A big thanks to all the fantastic staff at St. Joe’s Continuing Care.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. At his request there will be no visitation or service. Cremation. Arrangements entrusted to Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home.
