Carolyn (Bill) MacIsaac
North Sydney
It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Carolyn Lisbeth (Bill) MacIsaac on January 29, 2022, at the Northside Community Guest Home. Born in North Sydney on July 3, 1953, Carolyn was the daughter of the late Arthur and Wilma (MacDonald) Bill.
Carolyn was a very artistic person. She was a gifted violinist in her youth and was also a beautiful painter. Her passion for classical music and art never faded.
Carolyn is survived by her sister, Jane (Terry) Hagell of Lloydminster Alberta; her niece, Lisa, and her grandniece, Samantha; her faithful friend, Gloria (Ricky) Brady, who was so central to Carolyn’s life for many years; her cousins Cathy Noel and Normi Noel; her very dear friends – Joan Byers, and Kelly Carter.
Besides her parents, Carolyn was predeceased by her sister in childhood, Lisbeth Bill, and her close friend, Nonie Rideout.
The family would like to extend a special note of thanks to the entire staff of the Northside Community Guest Home for their years of dedicated and compassionate care provided to Carolyn. Much gratitude is also extended to Dr. Paul Hickey for his years of care, along with the Palliative care staff.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant Street, North Sydney. Burial at Lakeside Cemetery, North Sydney will take place at a later date. Online condolences to the family can be posted on the tribute wall of the obituary at www.wjdooley.com.
