Carolyn’s Obituary
Patriquin, Carolyn Anne – Wentworth – Age 79, died on March 1, 2022 with Larry, her husband of 60 years, at her side. Carolyn loved her family fiercely and worked tirelessly to support them. She ran a home like no other and was such a talented cook and baker that Larry and son Steve found it hard to enjoy meals anywhere else. She lived for them. Carolyn loved to spoil her pets, mostly dogs, but also a couple of very big fish. She grew up in Westchester, lived in Halifax, Lower Sackville, and finally settled closer to home in Wentworth. Carolyn was very close with her mother whom she cared for in her home for 12 years. She deeply cherished her lifelong friendships with Myrna, Gail, and Ashlea. Predeceased by father, Ivan Ralston; mother, Marjorie Ralston; and her brother, Gary Ralston. She is survived by her husband, Larry Partriquin; son, Robbie Patriquin; son, Steven Simpson, and her granddaughter, Cassidy Durston. There will be no service at this time. Carolyn raised funds in memory of her brother Gary for Muscular Dystrophy Canada, so a donation can be made in lieu of flowers.
