Carolyn Ann Sobey 2022

Carolyn Ann Sobey, wife of the late Budd Sobey of Maple Glen, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at the age of 82.
Born in Newcastle, NB, she was the daughter of the late John Alexander and Inez (Jarvis) Gray. She was a homemaker and a member of the Maple Glen United Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Susan Stewart (Reggie) of Maple Glen, Pam Waye (Donnie) of Maple Glen and Faye Sobey (Roger McKay) of Maple Glen; her sons, Perry Sobey of Ontario and Michael Sobey (Late Annie) of Maple Glen; her sisters, Joan Hannah (Mike) of Miramichi and Gail Glover (late Eric) of Miramichi; her brothers, John Gray (Joyce) of Miramichi and Robert “Bobby” Gray (Karen) of South Esk; her Grandchildren, Randy, Amanda, Colin, Sabrina, Cody, Dustin, Terri Lee, Sarah and Jody and her 20 great grandchildren.
Carolyn Ann Sobey is resting at Davidson’s Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, with visitation on Thursday from 2pm-4pm & 6pm-9pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11 am at Davidson’s Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Alice Szemok officiating. Burial will follow in the family plot of Maple Glen Cemetery.
