PATERSON, Carole (McLeod) – On Friday April 29, 2022, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, after a brief illness, in her 83rd year; Wife of the late Andy Paterson (April 28, 2022). Loving mother of Glenn McLeod (Bonnie), Wendy Charles, and Stacey McLeod; Loving Nana to Brandon, Devon, Madison and Ryan; Dear sister of Ken Pearson (the late Joyce); Carole will also be missed by several nieces and nephews and many dear friends. Predeceased by her parents Charles and Nancy Pearson, and by her first husband Don McLeod.
Born in Niagara Falls, Carole was a lifelong active member of Drummond Hill Presbyterian Church, where she served as an Elder, as Past President of General Ladies Aide Group 7, and Past Treasurer of Group 7 Ladies Aide, and was a Past-President of the Fallsview Home & School. Over the years, Nana was the #1 sports fan for each of her grandchildren.
Carole will be at the MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls, where her family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Thursday. Funeral in celebration of her life will be held at Drummond Hill Presbyterian Church on Friday morning at 11 o’clock. Cremation to follow with interment of the cremated remains at Fairview Cemetery.
