Carol Ann Keyes 1939 2022

Obituary of Carol Ann Keyes
It is with great sadness that the family of Carol Ann Keyes announces her passing on December 23, 2022. Born in Saint John on November 2, 1939, Carol is survived by her five beloved children David (Jennifer), Michael, Beth (Bliss), Paul (Nicole) and Greg (Kathryn); their father (Herbert) and her much-adored grandchildren Kerstyn, Avery, Evan, Julia, Quinne, Madelyn, Abigail, Natasha, Anna and Brian. She is also survived by her sister Sharron, and numerous family members.
Carol enjoyed her early years working at the Lantic Sugar Refinery, left to dedicate the next 25 years to raising her family, then returned to the workforce selling jewellery for various retailers where she was recognized as a sales leader receiving numerous commendations. Carol developed a large network of repeat customers based on her personal touch service and love for her clients.
Carol was noted for her love of Elvis, swimming, bowling and spending time with her family. She sacrificed her own career aspirations to raise her children, ensuring they attended sporting and school activities, or whatever they required to succeed. She was always enthusiastic in her support of her children.
Carol was predeceased by her parents (Frank and Ellen Jones) and sister Avis (Hills).
A private family service will be held at a later date, and her children ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. A special thank you is extended to staff at Garden Court, Rocmaura, for their compassionate care of our loving mother and grandmother.
