Obituary of Carol Ann Featherstone
Featherstone, Carol Ann
Our hearts are broken at the passing of our mom, Carol Ann Featherstone (Baxter). Carol passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Strathmere Lodge on Friday, December 31st, 2021, in her 83rd year. Predeceased by her beloved husband and best friend of almost 60 years Kenneth (2020). Loving mother to her two children; Don Featherstone (Monique) and Beth Bernard (Aaron). Proud grandmother of Dena Featherstone, Jake Featherstone, Taylor Bernard, Logan Bernard. Adoring great-grandma to Stella. Carol was born March 17th, 1939 in London, Ontario, to Ernest and Ethel Baxter of St. Thomas. She leaves behind her two sisters; Brenda Collins (Bill) and Sharon Brock (Allan), and many nieces and nephews. Carol will be remembered by many as a devoted life member of The Order of the Eastern Star. She will be remembered for her elegance, kindness and grace, her love for the piano and helping others. A special thank you to the wonderful staff at Strathmere Lodge LTC for their loving care of Mom through the extraordinary challenges of the pandemic.
