Carol Smith
1941-2022
The death of Carol J. Smith formerly of Florenceville occurred on
Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at the Central Carleton Nursing Home,
Hartland. Carol was born April 23, 1941 in Greenfield and was the
daughter of the late Henry and Celia (Hitchcock) Smith. She was also
predeceased by 2 sisters, Geraldine Smith and Jean McPherson.
Carol is survived by her 3 sisters, Florence Swim (Earl), Gladys
Giberson and Winnifred Rousselle (Ulysses); special niece, Patricia
Giberson as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Respecting Carol’s wishes there will be no formal services. The
interment will be in St. Leo’s Cemetery at a later date. For those
who wish donations made to the Central Carleton Nursing Home or a
charity of the donor’s choice.
Carol’s family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Central
Carleton Nursing Home for their kind and loving care shown to
her.
