Carol Odessa MacInnis Thursday January 27th 2022

Carol Odessa MacInnis (Mason) was born on November 18th, 1941, in Halifax Nova Scotia and passed away on January 27th, 2022.
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend Carol. She passed at the QE11 Health and Sciences Centre Victoria General Hospital after a brief septic infection and complications from Covid. Carol was predeceased by her husband of nearly 50 years John Ronald MacInnis, her father Aubrey Mason, mother Mary Mason (Bezanson), brother Kenneth Mason, and sisters Lillian and Olive. She is survived by her sister Florence Mason (Toronto), her son John MacInnis (Toronto), daughter Lynn Ramirez (California), her treasured grandchildren Matthew Ramirez, Allison Ramirez (California), Sven MacInnis (Toronto), niece Elise Cote and nephew Jim Flowersmith.
Carol travelled the world with her family supporting her husband John as he worked at Canadian Embassy’s in Manilla, Philippines, Georgetown, Guyana and Kingston, Jamaica. They would eventually return to their hometown of Halifax, Nova Scotia. We will remember her friendly spirit and deep love for her family. No one was stranger in her eyes-only friends she had yet to meet.
“We will release you to the hands that heal and make new” Loved forever her family and dear friends.
