It is with heavy hearts that the family of Carol Chezzi (nee Taylor) announces her passing on January 3rd, 2022 at the Pioneer Manor. Carol was the loving wife and best friend of Guido Chezzi for 60 years.
She was the loving mother of Lori Leclair (Michel) and Brenda Rossi (Pietro). Loving Noni to Lisa, Justin (Devyn), Christopher (Amy) Patrick (Nicole) and Trista. She was also a great Noni to Mason and Jordyn.
Carol was the daughter to Ralph and Laura Taylor (Gamelin) both predeceased. She was the loving daughter in law to Lorenzo & Cecile Chezzi (Giroux) both predeceased. Loving sister to Patricia Guindon (Taylor)and Donald Guindon (predeceased). Loving sister-in-law to Robert Chezzi and Sandra Chezzi (Laprairie) and Frances Evershed (Chezzi) and George Evershed (predeceased). She will be missed by many cherished nieces and nephews. Carol was a special mom and loved us with all her heart. She loved to crochet, read and loved to make flower arrangements. She will be remembered for her spaghetti sauce and spareribs. She loved playing Bingo and going to the Casino. She worked at the Chamber of Commerce for many years and loved her job in Customer Service at Sears. The family wishes to express their much appreciation for the special care given by Dr. Maurice St. Martin and Dr. Monique St. Martin. The family also wishes to thank the staff at Pioneer Manor –Ramsey Scenic and Cedar South for the wonderful care our Mom received during her stay. As per Carol’s wishes, cremation will take place and a mass will be held at St. Paul’s the Apostle Church in Coniston on Monday January 10th at 11:00 a.m. Due to COVID-19 directives, a maximum of 50 people will be allowed in the church. Face masks are mandatory. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society and Sick Children’s Hospital.
