It is with extreme sorrow that the family of Carol Andreychuk announces her peaceful passing at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital on Sunday, March 20, 2022, at 76 years of age, with her children by her side. Carol was born in Sudbury on April 7, 1945. Predeceased by her parents Steven and Peggy Marynuk and her in-laws Nicholas and Ann Andreychuk of Grimsby. Carol is now reunited with her beloved husband of 53 years, Nicholas (2020). Beloved mother of Nancy (Shane) Baker and Nicholas (Thya) Andreychuk. Much loved and very proud grandmother of Kayla, Jacob, Eli and Owen. Loving sister of Beatrice (William, deceased) Gaba, Peter (Betty) Marynuk, Helen (Ted, deceased) Zaharchuk, Nettie (David, deceased) Slobodian, Don (Adie) Marynuk, Eddy (Judy) Marynuk, Kathryn (deceased) (Ed) Zarichny and Bob (Andria) Dymianiw. Sister-in-law of David Andreychuk, Gregory Andreychuk, Diane (Larry) Pfeffer, John Andreychuk and the late Fred (Jan) Andreychuk. She will be fondly remembered and missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and many dear friends. Visitation at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 135 Livingston Avenue, Grimsby on Friday, March 25, 2022, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. with Prayer Vigil at 8:45 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the church on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at 11:30 a.m. A livestream of the Mass will be available at www.facebook.com/StJoesGrimsby. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or St. Joseph’s Church.
