Obituary of Carol Dorothy Pichette
Entered into rest peacefully in her 80th year after a courageous battle with cancer at Lakeridge Health Oshawa with her daughter at ger side on June 9th, 2022. Devoted mother and best friend of Debbie Brooks and her husband Bill. Predeceased by her only brother Howard Kirkpatrick. Honorary mother to Dave and Marg Brooks, amazing Grandmother to Susan Brooks and partner Shayne Hartin, Lynda Brooks – Upton and husband Peter. Adored Great Grandmother of Isabella Brooks and Kade Upton. Loving doggie Grandmother to Hayley and Maggie May. Carol was a dedicated employee with Scotiabank for 41 Years. Upon her retirement in 1988, she became an avid walker, walking hundreds of Kilometers. She will be fondly remembered for her Generosity, her willingness to help others, and her uncanny ability to listen without passing judgement.
Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive in Oshawa (905) 440 3595, on Wednesday June 15th from 10:00am until 11:00am. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 11:00am. Cremation will follow.
In Lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Lakeridge Health Foundation on behalf of the R.S McLaughlin Durham Regional Cancer Centre or Colorectal Cancer Canada.
