Carol Diane Muise 2022

Carol’s Obituary
MUISE (Née MAILLET), Carol Diane
March 1, 1966 – May 16, 2022
Age 56, of St. Alphonse passed away peacefully with her children by her side early Monday, May 16, 2022 after a courageous fight with cancer. Born in Yarmouth, Carol was a daughter of the late Narcisse and Jeanette Maillet.
Carol’s greatest joy in life was being a mom and a grand-mère or gaga, as she was affectionately called, and she was extremely proud of her children. She loved walking the beach and listening to the waves crash on the shore. Carol would always look for beach glass, raving about the beautiful pieces she would find. She loved going clamming which she did even with a broken foot, and mackerel fishing on the boat. Carol loved going for drives with no destination in mind and blasting the radio and singing along. She was happiest spending time with her family and doing the things she loved.
Carol is survived by her son, Nicholas Muise, St. Alphonse; daughter, Heidi (Johnny) MacKenzie, Weymouth; and her special grandson, Logan MacKenzie, Weymouth; special friend, Ronald Comeau, Maxwellton; brother, Andrew (Diane) Maillet, Halifax; sister, Frances (Rex) Weare, Caledonia; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son, Logan Muise; brothers, Roger and Gerald Maillet; sister, Christine Maillet.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Meteghan Funeral Home where public visitation will take place on Saturday, May 28th from 9:30- 11 am. A graveside service and burial will follow at 11:30 am in St. Alphonse-de-Ligouri Cemetery.
