It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Carlos on Monday, January 17, 2022 at Mackenzie Health Hospital at the age of 84. Loving and devoted husband of Alzira for 61 years. Much loved father of Maria Da Conceicao (Norberto) Vieira and Celia (Frank) Ortino. Cherished Avo of Jessica (Harry) Brace, James (Liliana), Eric and David and proud great-grandfather of Alyssa, Melanie and Harry Jr. Dear brother of the late Maria (Silvino) Casqueira, Orlando (Rosa Maria), Jose Manuel (Fernanda), Conceicao (Manuel) Garrelhas. Carlos will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Resting at NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue (North of Rexdale Boulevard), on Sunday, January 23, 2022 from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m.Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Roch’s Parish, 2889 Islington Avenue, Toronto, on Monday, January 24, 2022 at 10 a.m. Interment: Beechwood Cemetery.
