Obituary of Carlon Amanda Davison
Carlon Amanda (Zwicker) Davison, 81 of Wolfville, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2022 in the Wolfville Nursing Home. She was the daughter of the late Willis and Lettie (Gates) Zwicker.
Carlon started her first working position with Palm’s in Wolfville where she met her husband, Leo. After she left her job with Palm’s, she worked at the check-out as a cashier at Wade’s Food Store. After a bit of time, Carlon secured a position with Formex Fabric Plant in Kentville where she retired after working 25+ years.
She loved bowling and was a member of the Seniors’ Bowling League in New Minas. Carlon enjoyed snowmobiling and cards or crokinole games with friends. And she relished in the time spent with her family camping on the weekends.
Carlon will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Donna Davison, Black River; sons, Glendon (Anne) Davison, Gaspereau; Darrell (Susan) Davison, Black River; grandsons, Adam Acker, Andrew Acker, Ryan Davison, Evan Davison, and Brycen Davison; granddaughter, Amber Davison; and great-grandson, Theo Acker.
In addition to her parents, Carlon was predeceased by her husband, Leo.
A Funeral Service will be held on July 14, 2022 at 2:00 pm in the Gaspereau Community Centre with interment in the Gaspereau Cemetery following the service. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or your local SPCA. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
