SEITZ, Carl Joseph (February 6, 1954 – June 26, 2022)
Passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 26th, 2022, with his loving wife of 48 years Sharon Rose (Lucas) Seitz by his side, a resident of North Road, RR5 Langton in his 69th year. (Certified Welder formerly Superior Propane, Courtland; DeCloet Greenhouses, Pinegrove; Roofer with John Bachner Roofing, Fairgrounds and Welder at Cadman’s Manufacturing, Courtland.) Carl was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting. He loved his beegles. Much-loved husband of Sharon and much-loved father of Jason (Tina) Seitz of Tillsonburg and their children: Makayla, Matthew Seitz and Mathew Litzan and Kayleigh West; Jeremy (Sarah) Seitz of Tillsonburg and their children: Jordan, Kade and Riley; Jeffrey Seitz of Tillsonburg and his daughter Winter. Carl is survived by his six siblings: Ralph Seitz and the late Marjorie, Springford; Janet (Ron) Coucke, Langton; Robert Seitz, Brantford; Rita (late John) Rivard, Joliette, Quebec; Kathy (Frank) Evaninski, Courtland; and a twin sister Carol (Mike Comeau), Courtland and several nieces, great nieces, nephews, great-nephews and cousins. Predeceased by a sister Christine and his parents: Ignatius Isadore “Ned” Seitz and Vera (Ludwig) Seitz.
In keeping with Carl’s expressed wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life for Carl Seitz is planned for the future at his late residence, North Road, RR5 Langton at a later date to be announced. Inurnment in the Seitz family plot in the Cultus Cemetery. All who knew Carl are invited to share favourite memories, photos or contribute memorial donations payable to the “Canadian Cancer Society” or to the “Purrfect Companions of Norfolk” via Carl’s online tribute page at www.verhoevefuneralhomes.com or by cheque through the Maurice J.
