It is with great sadness that the family of the late CARL JOSEPH HYNES of Jean de Baie, formerly of St. Bernard’s, NL, announces his passing. Carl passed away at his residence in Jean de Baie, NL, on Friday, April 01st, 2022 at the age of 55.
Carl was predeceased by his father Clayton Hynes.
Leaving to mourn with wonderful memories are his partner of 10 years Jackie Lomond and step daughter Kiera Fitzgerald of Jean de Baie; his mother Mary Hynes, St. Bernard’s, brothers Gerard (Donna), St. Bernard’s, and Patrick (Jean), Winterland, sisters Romena Hickey (Ken), St. Bernard’s, Lousie Wall (Freeman), St. Bernard’s, and Bernetta Kearley (Barry Brinston), Creston South; Step sister Rita Pardy (Carl), Creston North; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Special thanks to his home care worker Colleen Barry.
The details of times that the Family will accept visitors at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, St. Bernard’s and at Peninsula Funeral Home in Creston South, as well as the funeral service, will be announced.
Cremation will take place.
No flowers by request but donations, in Carl’s memory, may be made to the family.
