Jerry was of the Baptist faith and served in the United States Marine Corp. during the Korean War. He was the tenth past master and last charter member of Burlington Lodge 763, Life member of Knoxville Scottish Rite Masons, Life member of Kerbela Shrine International, and member of Royal Order of Jesters. After the passing of Betty, he traveled extensively crossing the United States many times, visiting all 50 states and several countries. Jerry had many passions including photography, hunting, fishing, flying his private airplane and farming apples on Hungry Mountain Farm. Every daughter should have a dad as wonderful, kind, and loving as mine. In dad’s words, “I have had a good life. Turn out the lights; this party is over.” He will be missed by many!
