Hill, John Charles (Capt. John)
September 26, 1936 – December 14, 2022
Passed away unexpectedly at home, at the age of 86. Predeceased (Oct. 14, 2022) by his beloved wife Phyllis, of 65 years. Loving father of Darlene (D. Thomas), Derek and Darin (P. Roche). Cherished grandfather of Dillon, Spencer, Amber, Angel and Jessie. Survived by his only sibling and older sister, June Ewing of Ridgeway.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne on Saturday, January 7, 2023, from 1pm to 4pm. Interment of cremated remains will be held at a later date.
If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
