Candace Mary Candy Nagy Douglas Monday April 25th 2022

NAGY, Candace (Candy) Mary née Douglas – Just 3 weeks shy of her 68th birthday, following a courageous battle, Candy passed away peacefully at her home on Monday April 25, 2022, surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her parents, Donald and Moira Douglas. For many years, Candy enjoyed staying at home raising her two beloved children, before entering the workforce, most recently managing a finishing crew at BTN Greenhouses for over a decade. She enjoyed traveling around the country with friends, supporting her husband’s passion of drag racing. When she wasn’t at the track, she enjoyed yard work at home with her grandkids and beloved dog Myles. She leaves behind her husband of 42 years, Charles (Chuck), and is survived by her loving children, Carmen (Kristen) and Christine (Stephen), and her beloved grandchildren Gavin and Eden.
As per Candy’s wishes, there will be no service. Cremation to take place. Those who choose, may make a donation in her honour to the Ronald McDonald House Charities or a children’s charity of their choice.
