Candace Jane Tremblay (nee Viggers)
Yekwenuhati (she does everything well)
Passed away suddenly at home in Toronto on Monday, December 12, 2022.
The cherished daughter of Joyce and Terry Viggers of Stouffville and a dear sister to Tracy (Brian); sister-in-law Jessica Viggers and predeceased by brothers Robert and Randall and husband Gregg Tremblay. Candy will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Candy embraced her Native heritage and was proud to be a member of the Oneida Nation and prouder still being of the Ohkwali (bear) clan family. She so enjoyed working with the Toronto community and considered all to be ‘family’. Candy will be remembered for her generosity, her love of cooking and catering, her exuberance for life and her nurturing soul. Her circle of family was vast. Now she has started her journey to the Spirit World to join other family and friends. Oh, what a reunion it will be.
A funeral service will be held at Cedarview Community Church, 1000 Gorham Street, Newmarket on Friday, December 23, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. Visitation: 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. A private interment to take place at Queensville Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to:
