Wilkin, Cameron Laurence
Cameron Laurence Wilkin passed away at Lanark Lodge in Perth, Ontario on Wednesday, October 12, 2022. at the age of 86.
Loving husband of Judith Wilkin; Father to Ross Wilkin (wife Christie Wilkin) and Gretchen Heagy (husband Blake Heagy). Grandfather to Katie Kauffman (23) (husband Thomas Kauffman), Cameron Wilkin (22), Sophie Wilkin (19), James Wilkin (16), Alissa Heagy (22) and Tamika Heagy (25). Great grandfather to newborn Henry Kauffman. Dear brother to Marion McLaggen (husband Barry McLaggan). Cameron was predeceased by his father Laurence Wilkin and mother Margaret Wilkin (Gillespie), and his brother Steven Wilkin.
Cameron is fondly remembered as he impacted the lives of many people through his strong Christian testimony, his love for the Lord, and his natural sociable disposition.
Friends and relatives are invited to a visitation from 6pm to 8pm on Friday, October 14, 2022 at Alan R. Barker Funeral Home, 19 McArthur Ave., Carleton Place, Ontario. A funeral service will take place Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. A graveside ceremony will take place on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at at 11 a.m. in the Harvey Community Cemetery in Harvey Station, New Brunswick. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Lanark Lodge, or to gospel outreach, in honor of Cameron would be appreciated by the family.

  1. I’ve known Cam for many years. He and I worked on the Halifax docks distributing Christian material for a long time. He will be missed down here but welcomed in glory by his Saviour who he served for many years.
