CALHOUN, Margaret “Peggy” Anne
June 12,1936 to February 4, 2022
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our Mom (Grandma) Peggy in Calgary, AB at the age of 85. Peggy was born in Lethbridge, AB to parents, Archibald Watson and Margaret (Twaddle) Watson.
Peggy is survived by her children, Debbie (Ron), John (Marion), Gary (Laurie), Carol; grandchildren, Cheryl, Christopher, Michael, Trevor, Kari-Ann, Kyle, and Connor; great-grandchildren, Noah, Nicholas, Natalie, Westley, William, Gordon, and a little girl on the way; sister-in-law, Elaine Watson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Peggy was predeceased by her loving husband, Gordon Calhoun; sister, Helen Harris; and brother, Bill Watson.
Mom (Grandma) will be missed, but we know she is happy being with her beloved Gordon. We would like to thank Dr. Sara Evans and the staff on unit 74 of the Rockyview Hospital for taking such excellent care of our mother. We would also like to thank all the staff at Garrison Green Nursing home for all their care as well.
At Peggy’s request no service will be held. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the www.parkinsonassociation.ca.

  1. Peggy has been dearly missed. Her shoes could not be filled at the Calgary Winter Club.
    She was an awesome avid bowler and those of us who bowled with her have missed her. My Deepest Condolences for your loss.
