It is with great sadness that the family of the late Byron (Scott) Campbell announce his peaceful passing on February 23, 2022, at the age of 78 years. He was surrounded by his loving family at the Western Long Term Palliative Care Unit in Corner Brook. His four grandchildren Brandon, Heather, Laura, and Katie of whom he was very proud. His sister Daphne Bartlett of Corner Brook, brother Jerry (Jean) Campbell of Halifax, Nova Scotia, and family pets. Scott also leaves to mourn many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Scott worked with Deer Lake Power (Kruger) for 43 years as a draftsman. He was a member of the Kinsmen Club and an avid outdoorsman with a love of fishing, hunting, and camping. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors and nurses in the Emergency Department, 3C and Palliative Care Unit at Western Memorial Regional Hospital. In addition, a special thank you to Dr. Srir, the Deer Lake Community Health Nurses, and Reverend Jocelyn Cook, whose kindness and care were so appreciated.
