Bruno Giacomazzi October 10th 2022

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother Bruno Giacomazzi. Bruno passed away peacefully at home on the farm in Aldergrove on Thanksgiving Day, October 10, 2022. Bruno was born in Mercoal, Alberta in 1937 to Amabile and Primo Giacomazzi. Bruno loved the Holstein cow and was an accomplished official cattle judge, judging cattle shows across North America, in Venezuela, and Columbia. Bruno was also an avid Vancouver Canucks season’s ticket holder, attending games with Shirley since the 1960’s. He was a curling enthusiast in both the Abbotsford and Langley leagues, and in his later years took up lawn bowling. Bruno made friends everywhere he went and always had a joke or story to tell. He devoted much time to working with and mentoring youth, particularly in the cattle industry. He loved sharing his passion for the Holstein cow and his knowledge of farming. Bruno will always be remembered as a kind, loving, and generous man who loved to dance, spend time with his family and friends, and cheer on any of his favorite sports teams.
Bruno is survived by his devoted wife of 63 years Shirley, his four children, Donald Giacomazzi, Jill Thimer (Greg), Tom Giacomazzi (Michele), Terri Giacomazzi (Jon), his two sisters, Gina Alary (Dan), Bruna Giacomazzi (Bob), and numerous grand children and great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held for Bruno at the Langley Events Centre on October 22nd from 12:00 noon until 4:00. All family and friends are welcome to attend.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Bruno Giacomazzi October 10th 2022..
