Obituary of Bruce Robert Sutton
Sutton, Bruce Robert –
Peacefully, on Saturday, April 30, 2022, Bruce passed away after a brief illness with lung cancer, in his 64th year. Bruce was the devoted husband of Linda for 27 years and loving father of Andrea and Amy Husar (Greg Waller). He was the beloved step-son of Evelyn and son of the late Amy and Bob Sutton. Dear brother of Mike (Jackie), Eric (Rosemarie) Sutton and the late Wendy Garnett (Mark). He is fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Bruce retired after a career as a director of finance for Maple Leaf Poultry. Bruce was very active in his community. He was a long-time volunteer as treasurer at the Georgetown Bread Basket. He was a member of the Georgetown Choral Society and a regular class participant at GoodLife Fitness for more than 20 years where his wife and daughter were his favourite instructors. Within all of these circles he made several connections with people who he genuinely cared about. Bruce will be forever remembered as a very selfless, quiet, caring person who was dedicated and devoted to his family and friends. His laugh especially, will never be forgotten. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Georgetown Bread Basket or CASHH would be appreciated. To make an online memorial donation or to send the family a condolence message please visit www.jonesfuneralhome.co. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 15th, for those who wish to attend, please contact Linda; linda_sutton@sympatico.ca for the location and time of the gathering. A celebration of life is to follow in New Brunswick, summer 2022.
