Bruce Yade Thursday July 21st 2022

Peacefully and surrounded by family, Bruce Harold Yade of Listowel and formerly of Kirkland Lake passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Thursday July 21, 2022, in his 79th year.
Husband of the late Virginia (Hosick) Yade, Dad will be lovingly remembered by his children Rosslyn & Richard Gauthier of Fort Nelson, BC, Doug & Karen Yade of Utica, Illinois, Peggy Collier of Listowel and Stacy & Jay Wyngaarden of Carrying Place. Grandfather of Derek, Keith, Cheyanne, Kendra, Liz, Brett, Matthew (Samantha), Cody and Luke, and great-grandfather of Chase and Aurora. Brother of Joan & Ted Lauritsen of Cranbrook, BC, Carol Anderson of Sudbury, Debbie Kelly of Port Elgin, and Lorraine Yade of Georgetown. Bruce will also be remembered by numerous relatives, friends and the Kinsmen community. Bruce was predeceased by his sister Sandra Eldner and brother Dennis Yade.
Dad was a quiet soul who loved his time on Howard Lake with Mom when he wasn’t being out fished. He enjoyed a good meal with family and friends that turned into a room filled with laughter and a good game of cards. Dad cherished his memories of times when the guitars came out and the singing started. He always had a project on the go that was inevitably interrupted for time on the lake or another get together with friends and family.
No formal service will be held. If you would like to spend time with the family we welcome family and friends at Peggy’s Home in Listowel, Saturday, 23 July 2022.
Memorial donations to Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated, and may be made through the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel.
Online condolences may be left at www.eatonfuneralhome.ca
