Bruce Joseph McLean
1944-2022
Bruce McLean passed away unexpectedly at home in Moncton on
March 5th, 2022, at the age of 77. Born in Loggieville, NB in 1944 to
the late Donald and Sophie McLean, he grew up in the Miramichi region.
Besides his parents, Bruce was predeceased by his first wife Anne
Marie McLean, grandson Stephen, as well as his brother Alex and sister
Marg. He was retired from a 40-year career with Co-op Atlantic where
he held many positions.
Bruce was a deeply loved husband, father, grandfather, and
great-grandfather who will be sorely missed by all. He was a true
mentor and pillar of his family who can never be replaced. He is
survived by his second wife Kathy (McNeil) McLean, his sons Kevin
(Thuy), Keith (Valerie), and Michael, all of Moncton, grandchildren
Chris, Megan, and Josie, two great grandchildren Sylas and Cyniah,
brother Harry, sisters Karen, Donna, and Julie, and numerous nieces
and nephews.
Respecting his wishes, cremation will take place at
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd,
Riverview (869-2007). A celebration of Bruce’s life will be
held at a later date, when friends and family are able to
gather.
Special thank you to the EMT and MFD members that came to his
