Obituary
Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of his family at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Monday November 14, 2022 at the age of 77 years. Bruce was the beloved husband of Linda Farmer (nee LePage) and the loving father to Aaron Farmer (Jackie), Stephanie Leonard (Brad), Michael Farmer (Jody), and Christopher Farmer (Erin). He was the cherished grandfather to Jonathan, Megan, Quentin, Chase, Mae, Austin, Dakota, and great- grandfather to Paisley, Ellie, Layla and Bruce. He will be lovingly remembered by his sister Sonia Walker (Elgin). Bruce is predeceased by his brother William Farmer as well as his parents, Earl Farmer and Mae Farmer (nee LaPlante). As per Bruce’s wishes, cremation has taken place and his family will be receiving visitors at McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Saturday November 19, 2022 between the hours of 11am-1pm. A memorial service will follow at 1pm in the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) chapel. The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to all the nurses and staff at Eastholme-home for the aged (Powassan), and the Cedar Lodge at the North Bay Regional Health Centre for their care and compassion during this time.
