Chapman, Bruce Alfred
Longtime retired teacher, Bruce taught school for 34 years with the North York Board of Education.
Peacefully at the Humber River Hospital on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 in his 85th year. Beloved son of the late Alfred (Fred) John (1982) and Edna May Chapman (2009).
Sadly missed by his family in England, Stephen and Susan Sherlock, Timothy (godson), Katie, David, Eva and Alexa Clarke and many good friends. He also leaves family here, Rosemary and April (goddaughter) Anderson and Cassandra, close friend Crosby Daley as well as many other friends.
Resting at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd., (north of Lawrence Ave.) Weston on Monday afternoon, January 17th from 3 to 6pm Service will take place on Tuesday at 10:30am in the Ward Chapel. Interment to follow in the family plot at Riverside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
The service in the Ward Chapel is public but in limited numbers understandably. Visitors must wear masks at all times in the building during both visitation and funeral service. To attend in person please ensure you register here by clicking the RSVP tab.
