DENDER, Brigette
On December 31, 2021, at the age of 85. Loving wife of Julian for 62 years. Very much loved mother of Christopher and wife Susan, Alexia Perkins and husband Robert. Cherished grandmother of Steven and wife Brianna, Mitchel and Kelly, Ethan, and Chloe. Beloved sister of Carl and Yvonne Fullinfaw, Brian and Irmgard Fullinfaw, and predeceased by Keith Fullinfaw (survived by Maureen), Aurial and Conrad D’Souza. Brigette will be forever and lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Dear sister-in-law of June Natione and Shirley Francis, Noel and Jean Dender.
Brigette was a caring Registered Nurse, graduating from the University of Windsor, and a Public Health Nurse in the Region of Peel. Brigette was an exceptional cook and talented artist. Above all, her family was most important in her life, and she loved them dearly.
Special thanks to the staff at Richmond Terrace Longterm Care Home as well as Erie Shores Healthcare for their care and compassion.
If you so desire, donations to Alzheimer Society or Ontario Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family. Reservations and face coverings are required for visitation on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Families First, LaSalle, 2130 Front Road (519-969-5841).
Separate reservations are required to attend the Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church, LaSalle, 1425 Divine Street. A livestream of the 1:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be available from Brigette’s online profile. You may register for visitation or reserve a seat for Mass at familiesfirst.ca or by calling the funeral home directly.

  1. So very very sorry to hear of Brigette’s death. I have so many wonderful memories of her while we were working at Peel Health and after she retired. She was my team and desk mate for a number of years. She was always kind and thoughtful to everyone and she had the most wicked sense of humour. When I think of Brigette, I see her laughing. We all loved her.
    Our deepest sympathies to Jay and all the family.
