It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Brian V. Routledge. Predeceased by his parents Ralph Routledge and Jeanne Routledge (nee Big Canoe), brother Steven and grandson Tyler. Dear father of Elizabeth Routledge and William Routledge (Kat). Loving grandfather of Ryan and Percy. Dear brother of Sylvia McCue (Edward). Nephew of Gordon Big Canoe (Nancy). Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends Jessie Hoeg and Ron Charles. Brian was a proud member of the Chippewas of Georgina Island. He was an exemplary athlete and was scouted by professional baseball teams. He excelled in golf which was his passion winning many tournaments and trophies. Cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service of the interment of cremated remains will take place in Briar Hill Cemetery, 5500 Black River Road, Sutton, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2022. Arrangements in care of the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, Sutton, 905-722-3274. Memorial donations to the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
