Obituary of Brian Sherwell
SHERWELL, Brian
July 25, 1927 – July 21, 2022
He passed at his home in Tecumseh with his son and daughter at his side on July 21, 2022 at the age of 94. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Sherwell “Chris” who was the love of his life. Father to Tom Sherwell and Jane Westra and their spouses Sharron and Jim. Grandfather to Elisse Russel, Jennifer Dufour, Kelly Vlasschaert and Celeste Westra and their spouses Chris, Matt, Richard and Scott. Great grandfather to Addalyn and Aubry Russel; Emma, Evan and Emmett Dufour and Faith, Kaylee, Lucas and Griffin Vlasschaert.
His favorite passion was his law practise on Pillette Road, which he and his wife opened in 1958. He met the needs of his clients, their children and grandchildren for 64 years. The most common comments about our father are “He is such a nice man” and “He did our house deal for us”. We would also like to give many thanks to his secretaries Kelly McCabe and Lesley Dow who have gone over and above their duties to allow our father to do what he loved the most which was to practice law and “See his clients”.
Dad was involved in many, many organizations throughout his life. His favorites in the pre-covid years were the Board of Directors of Windsor Grove, Riverside Sportsman Club and the Tecumseh Area Historical Society. For years Dad spent his Saturdays at the Tecumseh Museum making friends and sharing his love of history with visitors.
There will be a private family service with interment at the old Windsor Grove Cemetery. If you desire, donations may be made to: Tecumseh Area Historical Society at 12340 Tecumseh Road East, Tecumseh Ontario N8N 1M4. Arrangements entrusted to Windsor Chapel (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519) 253-7234. Condolences and cherished memories may be shared with the family at www.windsorchapel.com.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Brian
