Obituary of Brian Douglas Winterton
WINTERTON, Brian Douglas – Peacefully with his family by his side, Brian Winterton died at St. Joseph’s Hospice on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at the age of 71. Beloved husband of Deberah “Debby” for 52 yrs. Loving father and pride of his life Catherine Peckham & her husband John, Sarnia and the late Jeffery (1972). Cherished grandfather of Emily, Jack and Nicholas Peckham, Sarnia. Dear brother of Richard (Beverly) Winterton, Burlington, Ronald (Pam) Winterton, London and Sandra Winterton, London. Predeceased by his parents Keith & Alta Doreen Winterton.
Brian worked for Bell Canada for 37yrs. Brian served as a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus and served in many positions and was a volunteer at St Joseph Hospice. Brian’s passions were golf, handyman, building projects and travelling.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the St. Benedict’s Church on Friday, September 16, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A Celebration of Life Service will be celebrated at St. Benedict’s Church immediately following visitation at 1:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to St Joseph Hospice, 475 N.
