Peacefully, with his wife at his side, at the Golden Plough Lodge in Cobourg on Saturday, February 12th, 2022, Brian Ball at 79 years of age. Beloved husband of Anne Ball (nee Hailey). Loving father of Travis Ball (Angie). Dear brother of Brenda Collins (Peter) and the late Barbara Switzer (the late Ronald). Public Visitation will be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St. E. in Cobourg on Friday, February 18th from 12 noon until 2 pm. A limited number RSVP only service will be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home on Friday, February 18th at 2:30 pm. Those wishing to attend the service must register online at the funeral home website. For those not attending the service the service will be live-streamed on the funeral home website at service time. Due to Covid restrictions, those wishing to attend either the visitation or the service must adhere to room limit restrictions, wearing of masks, providing contact tracing information, and abiding by social distancing rules. A very special thank you to the friends that have been here through Brian’s Alzheimer journey, especially Roy, Sandra and family. Many thanks to the Golden Plough and the amazing staff on Blacklock Cottage for all the special care. And to the palliative care unit at the Golden Plough who made his final days comfortable. Those wishing may make a memorial donation to the Alzheimer Society.
