On Wednesday, July 13, 2022, Brian Allan Taylor passed away at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook. Brian was born on September 24, 1949 and raised in Cranbrook. Brian married his wife Susan on June 12, 1971 and they raised three children until her death in 2007.
Brian and his late wife Sue owned Reddy’s RV for many years. When he retired from the RV business he started his company Pro Chute, 3D Freedom Sports where he would build powered parachutes. If you were lucky, you would see him flying around. After his full retirement, he loved to camp with his grandchildren at Koocanusa or Horseshoe Lake.
Brian leaves behind his three children Devin Taylor, Derin Taylor (Kelly Acker) and Denni (Kevin ) Mitzimberg. He also leaves behind six grandchildren; Ashley, Tristan, Angelina, Summer, Keagan and Kayden. Also left behind are his siblings, Randy Taylor, Trent Taylor and Linda Taylor. Brian was predeceased by his beloved wife Sue as well as his parents, Bernie and Hellen Taylor.
Brian was a member of the Legion and the family would appreciate any memorial donations be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #24, 803 Cranbrook St. N., Cranbrook, BC V1C 3S2
Brian is now reunited with his wife Sue. I am sure they have found a casino and are placing heavenly bets. Well Dad, we will see you in the funny papers!
