Obituary for Brayden Shipman
With heavy hearts we announce that on May 30, 2022, Brayden Beau Shipman, a member of Walpole Island First Nation joined his ancestors in the spirit world at the age of 17. Beloved son of Lonnie Shipman and the late Shelby Soney. Brayden will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his brothers Dallas, Ashton and Nimoosh Chewy. Cherished grandson of Norma and John Workman, Lonnie Sr., the late Ginger Soney and the late Brian Henry. Missed by many aunties, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends, especially his dear friend Lucas. Brayden was a full-time employee of Chuck’s Roadhouse here in Wallaceburg. Community visitation will be held at 300B Tecumseh Rd., Walpole Island beginning at 6pm Saturday, June 4, 2022 and continuing until his service on Monday, June 6, 2022 at 11am. Burial to follow at Highbanks Cemetery. Services are under the care of HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg (519.627.3231).
