Brant Berry Haddon passed away peacefully at the Shannex, Neil Hall, Fredericton, NB on Monday, January 24, 2022 at the age of 93. Brant was born in Lord’s Cove, NB on May 15, 1928 son of the late Gifford and Lillian (Berry) Haddon. He is survived by his sons Peter (Patsy), Daryl; daughters Cathy (Tim) Rice, Debbie (Carman) Wilson, Bobbi Jo (Dan) Arnold and Rebecca “Becki” (Ben) Mersereau; grandchildren Nathan and Nicky Haddon, Jillian Mersereau, Michael and Mandy Wilson; Alex and Sarah Rice; great-grandchildren, Jaxson, Madelyn, Mackenzie, Zachary and Ella; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his wife Doreen in 2021.
Brant was a teacher for over 35 years and he loved to hunt and fish. He was an amature radio operator under the call sign of VE9BH.
A graveside service will take place at the Red Bank United Church Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Brant made to the Chipman Breakfast Program or the charity of choice.
