Bonnie Long Saturday May 7th 2022

Bonnie Dianne Long, age 70 years, passed away peacefully May 7th, 2022 with her family by her side at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Science Centre. Born October 21, 1951 in the city of Port Arthur, Ontario, she attended Lakeview Highschool and Confederation College before working for the Thunder Bay Public Library while building her future family¹s home with her husband, Wilf. Bonnie went on to co-own and work as the bookkeeper at their family¹s business for 32 years.
Bonnie loved spending time with her family, reading books into the wee hours of the night, her many pets through the years, thrift shopping with her friend Mable, and her nightly date night drives around the city with her husband of 50 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Wilf, her son Roy (Danielle), her daughter Jennifer, her son Jeff and her grandchildren; Taylor (Kate), Matt (Derian), and Sierra. Bonnie was predeceased by her parents Hub and Irene Kehl, and her brothers; Ted, Ronnie, and Glen.
Bonnie¹s family would like to thank the staff of the TBRHSC for their exceptional care and amazing kindness. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer society.
