Obituary
DeLucry, Bonita Dale
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Bonita (Bonny) DeLucry on July 25, 2022 at Hospice Fredericton.
Born in Saint John, NB on April 28, 1946, she lived most of her life in Oromocto, which she called home. Bonny was the daughter of the late Glendon Sr. and Gertrude (White) McHarg and the wife of the late William DeLucry.
She is survived by three sons: Dean (Susan), Dale (Jen) and David. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Dylan, Clayton, Alexander, Hunter and Benjamin. Four Step grandchildren Brianna, Austin, Brianna and Emily.
Besides her parents and husband, Bonny was predeceased by three brothers; Wayne McHarg, Glendon McHarg Jr., and Terrence McHarg, and her only sister Dawn Bailey.
Wherever there was a Bingo game, Bonny could be found. She made many wonderful friends over the years, and all will remember her with a Bingo Dabber and seemingly impossible number of cards. When outside the Bingo Hall, she could be found at the Oromocto Mall chatting to friends and often taking over an hour to “socialize” her way from end to the other.
Keeping with Bonny’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. There will be a graveside service at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery at a later date. You may express your sympathy by making a donation to the Oromocto SPCA.
Arrangements are in the Professional Care of Sunbury Funeral Home, Central Blissville, NB (368-2413). Condolences:sunburyfuneralhome.com
