Obituary of Bob McInnes
At Stratford General Hospital on Saturday, May 14, 2022, Bob McInnes formerly of Kinloss Township, passed away at the age of 85.
Beloved husband of the late Louise McInnes and the late Helen McInnes. Father of Al & Chris McInnes, Dianne & Dean Glassford, Connie Hornibrook and the late Sharon McInnes. Grandfather of Jeff and Sarah McInnes, Shawn McInnes, Hadley and Bridgett Hornibrook and Shannon Glassford. Great-grandfather to William, Joseph, Jayden and Justice McInnes. Brother of George & Betty McInnes and the late John & Isobel McInnes.
Bob loved to play a round of golf with his late wife Louise. He was an avid Leaf’s fan. He was an accomplished fiddle player and enjoyed playing at events and with family. He pursued several careers but was most proud of his tenure with the RCMP. During the last few years on his daily visits to Tim Hortons, he developed many special friendships and will be dearly missed by his Tim Hortons family and others.
Cremation has taken place and the placement of his ashes with take place in Langside Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be announced.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Alexandra Marine & General Hospital Foundation in Goderich or the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
