PITTS, Robert L. ‘Bobby’
Three Brooks
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Robert Leo Pitts ‘Bobby’ on May 6, 2022, in the Palliative Care Unit of the Aberdeen Hospital. Beloved husband to Helen Marie Pitts (Landry), devoted father to Carrie (Al Brown) and Rebecca ‘Becky’ Pitts, and loving grandfather to Aaron, Owen and Cleo, loyal brother to Margaret Ann Pellerín, Charlotte Pitts and Mary Bowen. He will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Born November 23, 1950 in Pictou, Bobby spent the majority of his life in Oakville (Brontë) Ontario. He then returned home to Three Brooks to enjoy his later years. This entailed tending to his tomato plants and caring for his dog Tank and cat Hunter. Bobby’s love for singing and playing guitar made him the life of the party. He will be greatly missed by all. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday May 11, 2022 from the Stella Maris Catholic Church, 26 St Stephen St., Pictou, at 11:00 am. Reception to follow at the Pictou Legion Branch 16, 130 Veterans Dr. Pictou. Donations may be made in Bobby’s memory to the Palliative Care Unit at the Aberdeen Hospital or a charity of your choice.
