Bob, a long time resident of Sudbury was regarded by his business colleagues as an honest, hardworking and ethical person. In the 1970’s he operated Sudbury Steel Construction. He later went on to start Panko Paints, which soon became a household name as he expanded his operation throughout Northern Ontario and Mississauga. Just prior to his 70th birthday, he decided to retire and Sherwin Williams would go on to service his large customer base throughout the province. He spent the last twenty years of his life motor homing between his residences in Arizona and Guelph with his beloved wife Marilyn. They reached a milestone of 65 years of marriage, December 29th, 2021. Bob embraced and practiced his faith and was devoted to his family. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus for many years. Bob enjoyed flying, fishing, scuba diving, computers, cards and spending time with friends.
We want to thank Dr. N. Dhiraj and all of the specialists and professionals who assisted Bob in his care. It is with heartfelt gratitude we thank the wonderful staff at Hospice Wellington who treated Bob with such dignity and respect. We want to acknowledge the special support and love that his son Doug has provided in his final days.
