BLYTH Larry James Ernest May 3 2022

BLYTH, Larry James Ernest
1949 ~ May 3, 2022
With heavy hearts, the family of Larry James Ernest Blyth, announces the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle and cousin on May 3, 2022, at the age of 72. Larry will always be lovingly remembered by his wife/best friend/partner Alaine, children: Leanne, Jolene, Joshua (Stephanie), Courtney (David), Jesse (Charlene), Chelsea (Mitch); 10 grandchildren: Andrew, Mathew, Jacob, Joseph, Zachary, Theodore, Harlyn, Adelaide, Felix, and Brighton; and siblings: Carol (Gary), Dwayne (Lana), Brian (Tracey) and Shaunna (Clark) along with many other family members.
He was predeceased by his parents, Isabel and John and his stepdad Holger.
In his own words, Larry led an interesting life. Family was everything to him and they enjoyed many happy celebrations together. Working in various industries, he finally got to spend the last 35+ years with one of his true loves – cars. He was stalked by wolves in the Arctic, burred out down a tree working utilities, and found some historical Franklin Expedition artifacts while surveying Banks Island. His greatest joy was the love of his family.
A special thank you to the wonderful staff at the Wetaskiwin Hospital and Larissa at the Red Deer Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to Heart and Lung Association, Myositis Canada or a charity of your choice.
A Celebration of Life will be held May 28, 2022, 3:00 p.m. at the Ponoka Legion.
Refreshments will follow so please RSVP to allablyth@hotmail.ca.
