Obituary of Billy Gowan
William (Billy) Dennis Manley Gowan
18 November 1982 – 11 November 2022
It is with great sadness that the family of William (Billy) Dennis Manley Gowan announce his sudden passing at home on 11th, November 2022.
Born in Grand Falls NB on 18 November 1982, Billy loved the woods, being in nature, playing hockey and golf. He had a big heart and loved his children and family dearly. Unfortunately, the love of his family could not overcome his lifelong battle with addiction, and he is now at peace.
Billy is survived by his three children; Madison Gowan (16), Wyatt Cleghorn-Gowan (10), and Elijah Gowan (6), his widow; Candace Gowan of St Stephen NB, his parents; Dennis and Deana Gowan of Mayfield NB; his sister Jill (Mark) Kozak of Fredericton NB and their children Cady (20), Eva (17), and Gabrielle (17); and his sister Krista (Kalil) Busada of Shreveport LA and their children Lillian (11), Beaux (4) and Baer (2).
There will be no visitation. A private memorial service will be held.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Overcomers Program at St Croix Christian Centre at www.sccc.online/give to help other families with loved ones struggling with addiction.
Online condolences to the family may be made at www.humphreysfh.com
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care & direction of Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street St Stephen, NB E3L 2B2.
