Royal Canadian Navy and Retired Police Officer, OPP for 25 years
Bill passed away peacefully at Hospice Simcoe on Saturday November 19th, 2022, at the age of 86. Bill was born in Orillia, predeceased by his parents Alfred ”Ted” Rands and Honour “Tiny” Hill (nee Joslin) and stepfather Percy Hill. Beloved husband of Susan Rands (nee McMaster) for 47 years. Loving father of Jennifer, Jason, Debbie, and Karen. Bill was loved by many grandchildren, nieces and nephew, other family members and friends. Predeceased by brothers Paul (Donna), and Peter (Gloria). In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held in the spring.
