Obituary
Bill Bray of Ste Rose du Lac and formerly of Eddystone, MB passed away on Friday, September 17th, 2021 at the age of 88 years.
Bill was born on July 25, 1933 in Bannerman, MB to parents Walter and Lena Bray (nee Harrison). Bill married Elsie Zastre on April 28, 1962 and together they raised their family of 3 children Gail, Norine and Neil and ranched in the Eddystone district. Bill and Elsie retired and moved to Ste. Rose du Lac where Bill resided until his passing. Bill enjoyed visiting with family and working with his cattle, his life’s work.
Bill was predeceased by his loving wife Elsie on May 22, 2006, his parents Walter and Lena, his sisters Doreen Parfitt and Betty Brunen.
He leaves to mourn his passing and cherish many fond memories; his children Gail Janssen (Henry), Norine Yanke (Richard), Neil Bray (Tricia), his grandchildren Brett Stasiuk, Ashley Janssen (Jacquelyn), Ryan Yanke, Robin Yanke (Colton Green) and Payton Bray, his great grandchildren Aaron, Abbey, Austin, Aubree and Gemma, his brothers George (Sylvia) and Brian (Odile) along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A graveside service for Bill will be held on Saturday, September 17th, 2022 at 4:00 pm in the Willowgrove Cemetery, Eddystone, MB
Should friends so desire, donations may be made in memory of Bill to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the Dr. Gendreau Personal Care Home.
