It is with broken hearts that
we announce the passing of a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, meme,
and friend on December 23rd, 2022.
Raised in Halfway
Cove, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Billy George and
Ella MacDonald. She had oceans of love for her grandchildren, Zoe,
Spencer, Jackson, Ayzlin, and Kaine. Besides the love of her children,
she also loved animals, racing, baseball, and hockey. Beverley never
missed a celebration with her family, and spent many nights cheering
on Sidney Crosby with her grandson Spencer whenever the Penguins were
playing. Family was very important to her and she passed that message
on to her children and grandchildren. Beverley had a great sense of
humor and always appreciated a good joke.
Beverley is survived by loving and devoted husband
Gene Arsenault of 14 years, as well as her three children Richard
(Zenia), Rachel (James), and Donald (Becca) Gormley, who she loved
dearly. Beverley is also survived by her brother Billy “Bud”
George, nieces Brittany and Morgan, sister Peggy Jones as well as Joe
Richardson and nephew Daniel Richardson. She will be dearly missed by
Genes children; Andy Arsenault (Angela), Gina Beaton
(Paul).
