Obituary of Betty Phillips

Elizabeth (Betty) Phillips of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at the age of 95 years. Elizabeth was born in Prud’homme, SK, on September 26, 1926.
She will be fondly remembered for her generous and compassionate spirit and her love of cooking for family and friends. She always enjoyed a good game of cards, Bingo, and family trips to Las Vegas. She took great joy in spending time with her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Betty Lou Fleming (Bryan); son, Robert Phillips (Debi); granddaughters, Colleen Fleming, and Michelle Weber (Mike); grandsons, Justin Fleming (Kristie), and Christopher Phillips; and her great-grandchildren, Jette, Kaia, Brynn Fleming, Marley, and Jack Weber. Elizabeth is also survived by brother, Leonard Andre, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Elizabeth was predeceased by her parents, fourteen siblings and one great-granddaughter (Kora).
A private family Graveside Service will be held at a later date and Elizabeth will be interred at Queen’s Park Cemetery in Calgary, AB. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed here. In living memory of Betty Phillips, a tree will be planted.
