Obituary of Betty McLeod
Peacefully on Tuesday, August 2,2022 at the Promenade Retirement Residence, Orleans, Betty McLeod (nee Innes) formerly of Montreal, QC and Vankleek Hill, ON passed away at the age of 99. Beloved wife of the late Douglas McLeod. Proud and loving mother of Judy Lutes (John) and Bruce. Cherished “Granny Betty” of Andrew (Valerie), Jennifer Nunes (Trevor), Kyle and Teighen. Dearly loved great- grandmother of Owen, Miriam, Sarah, Chloe, Bradley, Dylan, and Violet.
Betty will be remembered for her fabulous cooking and baking. She had a natural green thumb, she loved gardening, and she took great pride in her beautiful flower gardens.
Family and friends are invited to visit at Hillcrest Funeral Home Ltd 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill on Thursday, September 1, 2022, from 10 am followed by a Service in the funeral home at 11 am. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. A reception will be held at the St John’s Anglican Parish Hall.
